About Lisa
Lisa Moss has been with the US Fish and Wildlife Service as a Fish Biologist for an impressive 22 years. She takes us behind the scenes into her world of conservation, highlights the collaborations that make her work possible, and drives home the critical interconnectedness of the river, and all those who depend on it.
Lisa also describes the charisma and resiliency of “the most iconic fish of the James”, the Atlantic sturgeon. She ties together how fish are a key symbol of river health, and how we must all work together to ensure the health of everything and everyone living in the river’s watershed.
