About Genevieve

Genevieve Wall, Senior Environmental Educator for the James River Association, started her journey with the James several years ago when she worked at Presquile National Wildlife Refuge through an AmeriCorps opportunity. She recounts this amazing and life-changing experience (including the part where she spent several months without running water or power)!

Genevieve also expresses gratitude for the mentors and students that have guided her way, and describes her approach to ensuring that young people can create and nurture a lifelong relationship with the river.
